Every review site tells you how to get in. Nobody tells you how to get out.
NoticePeriod exists to fix that one gap.
Why this exists
The idea started with a simple, frustrating search: what actually happens when you try to leave an Indian company. Not the culture reviews, not the "great place to work" badges, none of that. Just the practical part: will they hold you to the full notice period, will a buyout even be considered, how long does full and final actually take, does the relieving letter show up on time or does it get stuck behind some internal checklist for weeks.
That information barely exists anywhere in public. Every major review site is built around the decision to join a company, not the decision to leave one, and by the time you're handing in your resignation, the two decisions can look completely different. NoticePeriod is a bet that this gap is worth filling with real, specific, unglamorous detail instead of another star rating.
What gets tracked
Every report on this site answers the same handful of concrete questions: how much notice was actually served versus what was on paper, whether a buyout was allowed or refused, how many days full and final settlement took, whether the relieving and experience letters showed up on time, and whether PF and gratuity were settled cleanly. No culture scores, no "would you recommend this company," just the exit, in numbers and specifics.
How it stays honest
Reports are anonymous by design: no name, no employee ID, nothing that points back to an individual. Every report is checked by a moderator before it goes live, and anything that names a specific person instead of describing a process gets rejected. No company can pay to remove a report, edit a score, or buy a better ranking on this site. There is nothing to sell them.
A company only gets an Exit Score once it has five or more approved reports. Below that, you'll see the individual reports themselves but no averaged score. Two angry reports, or two glowing ones, are not a pattern.
