My last working day with TCS was 20 September 2024. However, TCS recorded my last working date as 18 October 2024, despite the fact that I had stopped reporting to work after 20 September 2024. I had also communicated this to TCS via email and clearly informed them that I had stopped working with the organisation after 20 September 2024. Despite being aware of the discrepancy and my request to correct the Last Working Date in their records, TCS refused to rectify it. I subsequently joined JPMorgan Chase on 23 September 2024. Since TCS's records incorrectly showed that I remained employed until 18 October 2024, the employment dates appeared to overlap. This resulted in my employment with JPMorgan Chase being flagged as dual employment. The apparent dual employment was not a result of me working for two organisations simultaneously. I had already stopped reporting to TCS after 20 September 2024, and I had communicated this to TCS at the time. The overlap was solely caused by the incorrect Last Working Date maintained in TCS's records. Unfortunately, despite my attempts to have the matter corrected and explain the circumstances, the issue resulted in my employment with JPMorgan Chase being terminated. This was an extremely serious consequence for me, as I lost my employment with JPMorgan Chase because of an inaccurate Last Working Date maintained by my previous employer. I had taken steps to notify TCS of the discrepancy, but their refusal to rectify the records ultimately resulted in the situation being interpreted as dual employment. I would therefore like to clarify that I did not engage in dual employment. My actual last working day with TCS was 20 September 2024, and I joined JPMorgan Chase on 23 September 2024. The apparent overlap was caused by TCS recording my Last Working Date as 18 October 2024, despite my having ceased reporting to work after 20 September 2024 and having informed TCS of the same.
